A garden....along with some other stuff. I've been dying to get a garden planted since last year and it's finally happened. Chad was really good at helping me decide on how it should look, the size it should be, and what types of veggies to plant. We decided to go smaller this year with the option of building more boxes in years to come.
We finished the box and filled it with soil on Saturday and spent our FHE buying and planting our veggies. We have 2 tomato plants, 1 zucchini, 1 bell pepper, 1 row of green beans, 1 row of carrots, and a watermelon plant. It's our first go at a garden so we'll see how we did.
As we were putting in the finishing touches of marigolds our neighbors little girls came over to see what they could do to help. They were a little late to help with the garden so I had them go around the rest of my yard to water my other plants. Then they asked to see the babies room so I took them in for a little peek. I think they are just as excited as we are for the arrival of Kinsie.
As for an update: Danielle is progressing really well and should be going into labor anytime this week. We're excited and are rushing to get some of those last minute items. We had one baby shower, but Kinsie should be arriving before the second so we didn't have some of the necessities. Anyway- as you can imagine we've been really busy. I'll post some pictures of the shower once I have sometime to think. Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!
